Notifying misconduct - A guide for principal officers of notifying authorities

The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) and the Public Sector Commission (PSC) have recently issued a new publication entitled Notifying misconduct - A guide for principal officers of notifying authorities (the Guide).

The Guide replaces Notification of misconduct in Western Australia and the CCC's Guidelines for notification of serious misconduct for principal officers of notifying authorities (the Guidelines). The revocation of the Guidelines removes the categories of serious misconduct and emphasises notifications be made as soon as reasonably practicable.

The Guide has been developed to assist principal officers in meeting the obligations of the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct Act 2003. It contains practical information about what should be contained in a notification.
