Employment Entitlements for Payroll Professionals
Managing payroll correctly is essential, but the complexity of employees minimal entitlements and the constant changes that occur can sometimes make it difficult. This course examines the different requirements applicable to payroll management including the Fair Work Act 2009 and the Minimum Conditions of Employment Act 1993.
Upon completion of this couse participants should be able to:
- Identify employees entitlements
- Interpet application of awards
- Establish minimum employment conditions
- List requirements for payment of wages
- Check payroll deductions
- Meet requirements for record keeping and payslips
- Calculate annual leave and sick leave accruals
- Identify the basic entitlements in relation to long service and leave

Payroll offericers and human resource officers.

1 day, 9:00am - 4:30pm (8:45am registration)
What will I need to bring?
Nothing. CCI will supply all course material for you to confidently complete your training. CCI will also supply morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch at one of our preferred external venues. (Please advise our staff of any special dietary requirements five working days prior to the commencement of the course.)
Limited parking may be available in the CCI building. Additional parking is available at Nelson Crescent car park off Plain Street (behind Queens Gardens). There is also a free Red Cat Bus that stops outside the CCI building - please alight at Stop 29: Queens Gardens.
