Good Career Governance

Governance Institute of Australia

Event outline

Many of us are so busy working in our careers that we fail to spend the time working ON our careers. Your career needs an adaptive strategy, support systems and good governance to ensure it not only survives but thrives, in changing times.

Courageous leaders take this notion further, by engaging with employees and learning elements of career coaching and development. This ensures that people feel valued, supported and championed in the workplace.

You will learn:

  • How to know your strengths, and be a “strengths spotter” for others
  • Key coaching questions – for you, and your team
  • ‘Career Chameleon’ strategies to adapt to change and challenge
  • How to develop a career development culture
