In this lunchtime briefing Craig Boyle, Principal in Allion’s Workplace Relations and Safety team will;

  • update participants on where safety law reform is at now for WA;
  • review the current obligations of company officers under current safety law in WA;
  • discuss the new safety due diligence obligations for officers under the Work Health and Safety Bill 2014 (WA);
  • provide a practical approach for officers to meet their safety due diligence obligations.

Craig Boyle, Principal, Allion Legal

Craig is a Principal in Allion’s Workplace Relations and Safety team. He has extensive experience working with clients to provide strategic legal advice on a range of matters relating to industrial relations issues and disputes, agreement negotiations, union right of entry, termination of employment, managing ill and injured employees and workplace safety. Craig also assists clients in managing compliance risks associated with employment related legislation, including discrimination and privacy laws and has particular expertise in enterprise bargaining and industrial litigation. Craig has been recognised as a Recommended Employment Lawyer in Doyle’s Guide 2015.
