Govcamp Australia 2014 in Perth - Australian Public Sector Innovation
The Australian Public Sector is celebrating Innovation Month. As part of activities to mark the occasion, Govcamp Australia is being held across capital cities in Australia.
Landgate is coordinating the event here in Perth on Saturday 19 July 2014, 8am - 2pm. The venue will be Spacecubed in the CBD. The event is open to any individuals who are passionate about improving the public sector.
A GovCamp is an 'unconference' event where people from government and people interested in government get together to share knowledge, network, and find opportunities to collaborate. GovCamp Australia is an invitation is to be part of an open conversation that may inspire and shape new opportunities for innovation in the public sector. GovCamp Perth will be linked to GovCamps happening simultaneously in other capital cities around Australia through video conferencing so this is an opportunity to be part of a truly national conversation on Innovation.
This is more than a call to people who want to be part of a conversation about innovation in the public sector. It is an opportunity to talk with a mix of people - from inside and outside government, from the worlds of technology and policy, of community and universities - to talk about shaping an agenda for innovation and to make a start on that agenda. Themes will be suggested and attendees will have the chance on the day to decide topics for discussion.
If you are interested in attending then register now.
