The Corruption and Crime Commissioner and Public Sector Commissioner are hosting a breakfast event for public officers featuring Deputy New South Wales Ombudsman, Chris Wheeler.

Chief executive officers, leaders, line managers and practitioners working in governance, risk, investigation, audit and human resource management in public authorities are encouraged to attend.

Breakfast and networking from 8.00am - Session commencing at 8.30am to 9.30am

Chris has been a Deputy Ombudsman since 1994. He has over 30 years’ experience in complaint-handling and investigations, as well as extensive experience in management, public administration and public interest disclosures (whistleblowing). He has been responsible for major research projects, including the management of unreasonable complaint conduct, complaint handling practices, public administration and general conduct.

This breakfast event will provide attendees with insight into corruption themes, areas of risk, prevention strategies, reporting mechanisms and wider corruption considerations.
