Misconduct Prevention: an introductory workshop for managers
Managers and people responsible for supervising staff are key to building work practices and workplaces that are resistant to misconduct. This introductory session aims to raise the awareness of managers about misconduct, misconduct risks and their role in preventing misconduct.
This session includes information for participants about:
- serious and minor misconduct
- misconduct risk areas
- why misconduct needs to be prevented
- how they can contribute to misconduct prevention
- encouraging accountable decision making and preventing misconduct through ethical - leadership, robust governance frameworks, organisational culture and capability.
Session participants will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences in misconduct prevention and work through a case study.
This FREE session is for governance practitioners, managers with staffing responsibilities and employees with responsibilities for misconduct prevention in their public sector agency, local government and public university.
