Each of our speakers has a story to tell. They all have real world experience in reducing the impact of long duration injury claims. They will share their experience, along with lessons learnt and pitfalls to avoid.

Participants will be able to interact with the speakers, ask questions and gain insight.

If you’re an Injury Management Consultant, HR Manager, Occupational Health and Safety Manager, Workers’ Compensation Manager or Officer come and join our speakers as they share their proven strategies for managing complex injuries and reducing workers’ compensation costs.

Keynote Speaker

Brigadier Wayne Goodman
Head of the Australian Defence Force Arts for Recovery Resilience Teamwork and Skills (ARRTS) Program.

In 2014 Brigadier Goodman took part in both developing the story and acting in the play ‘The Long Way Home’. The play was performed on stages across Australia and featured military personnel recovering from significant physical and psychological injuries performing alongside professional actors as part of their broader rehabilitation program.

His story about the play and the ARRTS program as well as the information he shares on building workforce resilience will be an inspiration to anyone facing the challenges of getting workers with complex injuries back to work.
