Perth Web Accessibility Camp

Web Key IT Pty Ltd

Event outline

Each year the Perth Accessibility community provides a web accessibility camp.  This year's camp is being sponsored by BankWest and will be held at BankWest on Murray Street on July 22nd.

The cost is just $29.95 (including refreshments) and is strictly limited to 150 participants.  We are very pleased to announce that this year's keynote speaker is Graeme Innes, AM.  Graeme was previously the Disability Discrimination Commission for the Australian Human Rights Commission.

The Paciello Group is also providing Hans Hiller, Distinguished Accessibility Engineer as a speaker and we are very honoured to have him join us.

The day is geared to all levels of interest in website accessibility and as well as the above speakers, will feature membes of the Perth accessibility community.  As always, we will be having The Great Debate and this year's theme is "Website Accessibility is too expensive to implement" which is sure to provoke some thought with speakers both for and against.  There will be practical demonstrations and presentations.

Registration is through our website at: www.pwac.com.au.  Please contact Vivienne Conway on 0415 383 673 or v.conway@webkeyit.com for more information.
